Medical Platform Notice: HK AI Doctor is a professional tool for licensed medical practitioners. We do not provide direct patient-facing services. No patient personal health information should be entered into the platform. All AI outputs are decision-support tools and do not replace clinical judgment.

1. Who We Are

HK AI Doctor is operated by HK Information Technologies, providing a clinical artificial intelligence platform for licensed medical professionals. Our platform is accessible via web at hkaidoctors.com and via our mobile applications on Android and iOS.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

3. How We Use Your Data

To authenticate your account and maintain a secure session
To process your requests to our AI modules (Medical AI, Research AI, Finance AI, etc.)
To store reports and appointments you create within the platform
To send appointment reminders you have configured
To monitor for security threats and unauthorized access
To improve platform performance and fix issues

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to any third party. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

4. AI Processing & Third-Party Models

When you use AI features, your query text is sent to AI model providers to generate a response. We currently use:

Groq (llama-3.3-70b) — primary AI processing
Google Gemini 2.0 Flash — fallback AI processing

These providers process your text query only to return a response. They are bound by their own data processing agreements and do not use your queries to train models under standard API usage terms.

Important: Do not enter real patient names, national ID numbers, or other directly identifying patient information into AI query fields. Use anonymized or de-identified clinical descriptions.

5. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on a secure cloud infrastructure
Passwords are hashed and salted — never stored in plain text
All connections use HTTPS / TLS encryption in transit
Session tokens are randomly generated and invalidated on logout or password change
Access is enforced by role-based permissions (admin / doctor / user)
The platform follows ISO 27001 information security principles and ITIL v4 service management frameworks

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, your personal data and associated records will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your account and associated data
Export your saved reports and appointment data
Withdraw consent — you may stop using the platform at any time

8. Cookies & Tracking

HK AI Doctor does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics services (such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel). The only storage we use is:

Authentication token — stored in your browser's local storage to keep you logged in
Language preference — stored locally on your device

No third-party trackers are present on the platform.

9. Children's Privacy

HK AI Doctor is intended exclusively for licensed medical professionals. The platform is not directed at and does not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18 years of age. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify active users via the platform. Continued use of HK AI Doctor after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
